Eating Out in Sierra Vista & Cochise County
Independent Restaurants

Great Food in
Independent Sierra Vista restaurants provide diners with a unique local flavor and they are contributing to our local economy and support local charities. Statistics show that a locally owned businesses returns 45 cents of each dollar spent back to the community.
When you spend money eating out you should think about where that money's going to go after your meal.
Innovation and great food more typically comes from independent restaurants. Independent restaurant people tend to possess a passion that comes from having one's entire livelihood wrapped up in what comes out of one kitchen every day.
If you are looking for a uniquely Cochise County dining experience- and want to support local people trying to make something special in our community - I highly recommend you check these restaurants out.

Why I Do What I Do:
I love great food and I love Sierra Vista and Cochise County.
Restaurants continue to be the social center of our community. In restaurants, people spend time with family, friends, and celebrate special occasions. During each dining experience we are treated to the simple pleasure of good food, good friends and good times… and so goes my mission to bring people together to share in the celebration of a dinner well served.

Eight reasons to choose locally owned restaurants:
1. More money recirculates in our community when you buy from locally owned, rather than nationally owned, restaurants. Locally owned restaurants purchase from other local businesses and service providers. Purchasing locally helps grow other businesses as well as our tax base.
2. Small local businesses account for the largest share of net new jobs each year.
3. One-of-a-kind businesses are an integral part of the unique Sierra Vista and
4. Local business owners invest in community. People who live locally are invested in our shared future.
5. Customer service is better. Local businesses are closer to the customer and often hire people with more specific expertise.
6. Competition and diversity lead to more choices. A marketplace of many small businesses is the best way to ensure innovation, choice and low prices over the long term.
7. Encourages investment in
8. Nonprofits receive greater support. Nationally, nonprofit organizations receive an average 350 percent greater support from local business owners than they do from non-locally owned businesses.
